299. Little Acorn

Large sculpture for a new housing development by Crest Nicholson,
who commissioned the piece.

Sited at Hunts Grove, Quedgeley, Gloucester.

Sculpture had to be built from a number of sections in such a way that
it could be taken apart for transport and re-assembled on site.

Approximately 5 tonnes of large diameter oak was used in it's construction.

Finished sculpture weighed around 2.5 tonnes.
