1. Birdbath?

Wasn't meant to be in the first place, but that is what it seems to suggest to most people.

It was supposed to be a quaich perched on a bundle of shinty sticks. For the uninitiated, a quaich is a Scottish Highland drinking cup. Shinty is a game, rather like a particularly wild form of hockey, played in Scotland.

This was a commissioned piece created in the mid-nineties for a hotel owner in Newtonmore, Scottish Highlands.

Height: 6ft.
Wood: Silver Fir.
